Commissioning of MAPS Level-crossing protection system featuring PASH 1-6 road barrier has been concluded on Portstroy Level-crossing of Dudinka Station (PAO Nornickel). Worth mentioning that from 2018 and until this moment, the level-crossing was controlled from Station master control panel on Dudinka Station. Now the system equipment is located inside MKM mobile equipment container module in the level-crossing area itself. DKU wheel sensors ensure clearance control of the track on the level-crossing area, whereas all information on status of the level crossing is directly transmitted to MPC-I interlocking system of Dudinka Station via fiber.

Dudinka Station ensures cargo turn-over between the port of Dudinka, Norilsk and other facilities of Nornickel. The station has been controlled by MPC-I interlocking since 2018 and features remote control of Tundra switching track.
Dudinka Station is located in the namesake town of Krasnoyarsk Territory. The area is famous for its subarctic climate with long and severe winters: the temperatures may reach down to -50°C and below and there is about 280 frost days in a year. A railway connected Dudinka and Norilsk almost 90 years ago: the very first cargo trains travelled 113 kilometers of the narrow-gauge line on 18 May 1937. The standard gauge railway was laid in 1952, which led to dismantling of the old tracks.
