Another double-track haul on Far Eastern Railawy controlled by MPC-I

Back in February specialists of the JCS Research and Development Company Promelectronica have concluded modernization efforts on MPC-I computer-based interlocking system on Gurskoye Station, Far Eastern Railway. The interlocking developed by our company has been operating here for the last 9 years. In 2024, due to opening of the second track on Gurskoye – Pochepta Haul the system has been modernized.

Engineers of the Far Eastern Office of Promelectronica have updated the software and added to more functional modules to the UKC interlocking controller. Now MPC-I system control 18 points and 25 light signals, as well as provides integration with computer-based autoblock system.

Gurskoye – Pochepta haul is located on one of the most traffic-intensive sections of the Baikal-Amur Mainline Railway and lies through Sikhote-Alin Ridge. Opening of the second track allows doubling the train capacity on Komsomolsk-on-Amur – Vanino line.

Earlier specialists of R&D Company Promelectronica installed and modernized MPC-I computer-based interlocking on several stations of Far Eastern Railway: Selikhin, Eldigan, Dyuanka, Landyshi and others. Modernization of all facilities is performed within the major program to modernize Eastern Railways.
