Commissioning works performed within the second stage of construction of Sukhoi Port Station (PAO NLMK) have concluded in Lipetsk in the end of September. The new stage was dedicated to expanding the station, which increased the size of the station almost twofold. Now 18 points and 35 light signals of the station are controlled by MPC-I computer-based interlocking system and ESSO-M-2 axle counting system controls 44 counting posts.

Special attention was given to ARM DSP Station Master terminal: now the station layout is displayed on two screens, which significantly improves operator’s comfort and ability to receive information. Moreover, new functions have been added to the software: we added visualization of the contact board of the points, a screen for accounting braking chocks, as well as a help window for the station master featuring detailed description of indication of the controlled objects. These functions allow the station master to quickly react to abnormal situations, plan routes more efficiently and make decisions much faster.
The first stage was concluded in 2024. Back then we introduced SOK Object controller system to Sukhoi Port Station, as well as non-relay integration between ESSO-M-2 and MPC-I systems was performed by USKS-M unit.
