PromTransZhT-2025: Railway Technologies for Industrial Railways conference has taken place in Yekaterinburg from 21 to 23 May. The organizers and general sponsors of the event have been JSC R&D Company Promelectronica and AO Transmashholding, the sponsor of the event has been AO Trans-Signal and the partner has been AO Absolyutnyie Tekhnologii. PromTransZhT-2025 became a successor of the PromTransZhAT international conference that united developers, lawmakers and manufacturers of railway automation and signaling equipment.
“The conference is not focusing on narrow topics that discuss only “smart” infrastructure and “smart” signaling systems. Only “smart” infrastructure can’t render synergetic effect. Now we are discussing “smart” rolling stock, both locomotives and train cars, we are discussing technical solutions, bringing up futuristic ideas. The business part of the event was dedicated to a broad spectrum of topics. Panel discussions covered digitalization trends in railway transportation, imitation modeling of railway infrastructure, rolling stock and its diagnostics, remote and unmanned train control, designing of new railway facilities, innovative technologies for railway infrastructure, machine vision and industrial analytics, security and independence of technological processes, life-cycle contracts. Leading designers, manufacturers of railway equipment, heads and specialists of test laboratories and transportation universities, representatives of JSC Russian Railways, heads of design organizations, directors for logistics and transportation of major manufacturing enterprises of Russia and foreign countries to part in the conference.
The conference opened with a welcome speech from the President of the Promelectronica Group, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Igor Tilk and the Director General of the TMH Smart Systems, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Andrei Romanchikov. The conference was moderated by the author and presenter of the pop-science programs Sergei Malozyomov and the Vice-President of the Promelectronica Group, Candidate of Technical Sciences Vadim Lyanoi.

We can witness how new innovations are born and how the progress is moving forward. An expo of innovative solutions on rolling stock, railway infrastructure, signaling systems, software and hardware control systems for automation for hybrid logistical systems on large enterprises has been opened during the conference. Participants had a great opportunity to get information directly from the developers and see the technologies in action.
The conference and the expo have taken place at Sinara Center, which is located in one of the oldest architectural ensembles of XIX century Yekaterinburg.
The business part of the event, spanning for two days, has been concluded by the trip on the historical train “Ural Express”. The guests visited Shuvakish Station and the UMMC Museum Complex in the town of Verkhnyaya Pyshma.
On 23 May, the last day of the event, the participants visited the production facility of JSC R&D Company Promelectronica, showing the full production process of the company: starting from preparation to packing of the manufactured goods.
PromTransZhT-2025 international expo has become a new platform for dialogue between participants of the railway transportation market.
